Hi,

I feel that Amrabat has played as a wingback/defender for much of the start and will continue in that area. So could he be changed from

S ->D

thanks

Back in August you said this:

"We'll watch players like Antonio, Barrow, Borini, Depay, Lamela, Lucas, Mane, Martial, Monatero, Rooney, Routledge, Sterling until December."

It is now December. Can you please advice if you plan to make any changes?

Thank you

Also Milner M -> D. He is officially now Liverpool's Left Back. Played every game so far in that position and none in midfield

There needs to be consistency at club level to cover 3 attackers

Arsenal
Sanchez, Walcott, Iwobi are all classed as Strikers
Therefore Oxlade-Chamberlain should move M->S

Liverpool
Mane is classed as a Striker
Therefore Firmino and Coutinho should move M->S

Man City
Sane, Nolito, Sterling are all classed as Strikers
Therefore Navas and de Bruyne should move M->S

Hi Klausa...suggested position changes

Milner M ---> D (Milner has played left back in every league game for Liverpool this season)

Brunt D ---> M (Brunt filled in at left back last season due to injuries, but now he's back in midfield. Nyom is left back for WBA).

M. Alonso D ---> M (Alonso has played left midfield in a 3-4-3 system every league match for Chelsea. If Alonso is a defender, then so is Moses)
alternative:

Moses M ---> D (Moses has played right midfield in a 3-4-3 system every league match for Chelsea. If Alonso is a defender, then so is Moses)

Hi Talzano...I can imagine that the suggestion doesn't suit you, but you obviously haven't read my comment completely.

M. Alonso and Moses are playing in exactly the same position on opposite sides of the pitch in a 3-4-3, commonly known as "wing back". It's a combination of defender and midfielder. Yet Alonso is designated as a defender while Moses is designated as a midfielder. My suggestion was that they should both be designated with the same position.

Some people thinks that a Midfielder that scores much goals is automaticlly a Striker, and It is not. Coutinho or De Bruyne are much far from being a striker.

i' ve read your article but i pointed immediately on Moses.
Well then the right thing to do is to put Alonso in midfield instead of puting moses in the defence.
Thats the right thing to do.
And also your suggestion is very reasonable...

It is madness suggesting that all of the best attacking midfield players should be strikers. De Bruyne, Hazard, Alli, Payet, Coutinho, Mkhitaryan... Joe Allen... None of these players are strikers. Anyone suggesting otherwise is doing so purely to try to hamper their opponents who probably have these players in their teams. And a highly dishonourable practice that is too. That being said; if one or two of them are moved to strikers or 'attackers', every attacking midfielder in the game should be changed too. Otherwise it's just a case of picking out some good midfielders because they sometimes score goals. Perhaps on that basis defenders like Pat van Aanholt should be changed to strikers too...

I agree with the Alonso/Moses issue. Also, I think alli/lamela should be classified in the same way, as when fit they play similar roles. Firminho and Mane are tricky ones. They both can play as attacking midfield or striker. They should both be classified in the same way too though. Consistency please Klaus old boy. That's what we need here.

My opinion:

Changes

Coutinho M ---> S
Firminho M ---> S
Milner M ----> D
Sigurdsson M ----> S
Payet M ----> S
Redmon M ----> S
Mkhitaryan M ----> S
Young S ----> M
Alli M ----> S
Son S ----> M
Lamela S ----> M
Amrabat S ----> M
Brunt D ----> M
Feghouli S ----> M

No changes

Moses M- plays as midfielder
de Bruyne no change, he is midfielder
Antonio plays now as midfielder
Kouyate started as a defender but now plays as a midfielder

It cannot be said better than that about

One case I really think should be a striker is Nathan Redmond, sometines false 9, sometimes wide attacking role
