Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says striker Nicklas Bendtner is set to miss the start of the Premier League season. The Danish international is still struggling with a persistent groin injury and may need another operation. There are also fears that Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie will not be ready for the opener against Liverpool on August 15. The players featured in the World Cup final and are not due back at Arsenal until August 5.
