I have a negative balance, I have just put a player up for sale. If I accept a bid for him at the next transfer stage, weekend tomorrow at 3:30 am I right in thinking I wont get the money till Sunday and hence will get no points this?

your balance has to be positive on Saturday morning, right after the transfers are processed!
